An diesem ersten Experiment sind vor allem die Lehrpersonen beteiligt. Wertvolle Erfahrungen werden gesammelt, damit nächstes Jahr das Projekt der Klassen hoffentlich gelingen wird.
Wir sind gespannt auf den Verlauf, die Ergebnisse und die Auswertung dieses Versuchs. Erwartete Rückkehr der Rakete aus dem All: Mai 2024.
Medienmitteilung von Ende Februar 2024 zum Space Projekt
Die folgende Mitteilung stammt von Quest for Excellence und gibt Auskunft über den Stand der Mission:
“On February 1st, 2024, a total of 14 Student Teams, comprising 7 from Valley Christian AMSE program and 7 from Quest Institute partner Teams, were successfully delivered to Quest. Subsequently, Quest commenced the integration of these experiments into the Host Quest Box to facilitate power and communications. The Quest Box, containing the integrated payload, was dispatched to our Flight integrator, Space Tango, on February 6th, 2024. Here, the payload undergoes comprehensive checkout and preparation for its upcoming launch aboard SpaceX Falcon 9 CRS-30.
This year, our participating teams hail from various educational institutions worldwide, including:

2. Singapore American School, Singapore
3. Junipero Serra High School, Gardena, CA
4. Veritas Classical Academy, Fullerton, CA
5. Atlanta International School, Atlanta, GA
6. Calvary Chapel, Santa Ana, CA
7. Minnehaha Academy, Minneapolis, MN
Additionally, we have one team representing the AMSE R&D department. In total, there are 15 experiments aboard Quest XVI.”
